Left on Sunday 5th November 2017 for Student Placement - Higher Education Wheelchair Basketball Officer - (Suitable for Level 5 or 6)

Today I ensured the facility and equipment was booked in preparation for the training session. I also looked at the club page to see if any updates were needed and this information was then discussed with the SU. This helped my communication skills dealing with different people in different formats.

Left on Friday 29th September 2017 for insport series (previously known as the Wheelchair Sports Spectacular)

Having never been really involved with DSW or any disability sport before, I was unsure as to what to expect. The event, however, was a true inspiration. Having every age group from very young children to adults of all abilities and disabilities participating was incedible to see and experience. DSW provides such a pure opportunity for everyone across Wales to experience something new and how sport brings so many people together is something that won't ever stop amazing me

It was great to be a part of the insport disability sports, previous years I've taken part as a parciptant and this year volunteered :-)

Left on Tuesday 4th October 2016 for Celtic Cup Wheelchair Basketball - Event Assistant

My first time experiencing wheelchair basketball and to see an international event was particularly enjoyable. The teams are very independent but appreciate any extra help available from volunteers. Definitely an event to support again in the future.
